A consortium of players from all facets of the entertainment industry coming together to make a way for people from ‘round the way. The intent of HAMPTON ROADS TO HOLLYWOOD is to instruct, support and highlight our local talent by providing workshops and creating networking opportunities that will lure big time managers, agents and talent scouts to the area.With the ultimate goal of getting more Movie, TV, Music Video and Advertising Commercial projects filmed in the area. Like LA, we’ve got the locations-city, suburbs, plus beach. We’ve got the weather-mild winters, hot summers, warm spring and fall. And with all the natives that have made their mark in the industry, everybody knows we’re a hot bed for talent. On top of all that we’ve got the Virginia Film Commision giving tax breaks on production. Everything is moving in the right direction, so lets build on the momentum.
